Camp Michael McDonald

I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for Michael McDonald. Actually, that’s a lie, I really can’t stand him—the Motown album he put out a few years ago that was on some ad campaign killed any tolerence I had left for him… I love the pre-McDonald Doobie Brothers, but anything post-MM really rubs me the wrong way. That being said, I always enjoy a good Michael McDonald joke, be it from The 40-Year Old Virgin, or from everyone’s favorite late night host, Conan O’Brien. I remember watching this video for the first time, my freshman year of college in the Patterson laundry room--it was when Conan episodes played the next day on Comedy Central, I wasn’t doing laundry at 12:30am. I digress, anyway, I spoke of this little sketch for years until I finally found it on You Tube and I could share it with the world.
