Horror Theme of the Day: Halloween
I mean, honestly, what did you expect? It's the movie score of the day and my ringtone for the month of October three years running.

This industrial theme from Marco Beltrami, titled "Trouble in Woodsboro/Sydney's Lament," is one of the most recognizable movie scores ever and a personal favorite.
The score to Dario Argento's 1977 italian horror classic is unforgettable as is the film's famous hanging scene. Mad props to Kenny for introducing me to this movie!
One of the best bits of score from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the suite from "Hush," the silent episode. This is without a doubt the only episode of Buffy to ever creep me out. The score is Elfman-esque in parts and wonderfully references the Dance Macabre also used in the episode.
Nothing gets me into the Halloween spirit quite like a good horror movie score... today's theme is The Exorcist!
